Teach in China
Along with rapid Chinese economic development and 2008 Olympic Games and 2010 The World's Fair will be hold in China, more than 450 million Chinese are currently studying English. This creates opportunities for everyone - Chinese and foreigners alike.
Authorized by Chinese local government relevant Dept., Sheen International recruits teachers for teaching positions in China, including teachers for ESL, Academic English, Business, Technical and Hospitality and Tourism courses. Positions are available on an ongoing basis, each semester. Contracts can be for one term (about 4 to 5 months) or a full year. The majority of teachers required at the present time are for ESL. All teaching contracts are with the schools in China.
The condition of the schools that you will work for meets the foreign teacher working and living standards, and they have been examined and approved by local government relevant Dept. What we provide to you is a full of friendly, helpful, comfortable and safety working and living environment. We can help you make the most of your experiences while abroad and gain an insight into the life and culture in a way that no traveler ever could.
The program description
- Teaching position at a Chinese elementary, middle or high school, college or university. (Mostly teach English, however, there may be the opportunity to teach other subjects depending on your academic background)
- The working week is a minimum of 15-20 hours
- Free time is available some afternoons and evenings, and every weekend. Overtime is always available which is paid extra
Qualifications
- Teacher's certificate or college or university diploma (or at least minimum two years studying in college or university, in any subject, by the time of departure.)
- Native English speaker
Teaching experience would be an advantage but not essential. However a good education is essential.
The program provide
- Placement as an English teacher for one semester (4-5 months) or two semesters. The option to renew is by mutual agreement
- Free fully furnished apartment with one or two private bedroom.

Application Process-
Through our website you can browse schools' vacancy positions information.

Send your resume, application form (you can download from our website) and other documents required by mail or email after you choose some of them that interest you most.

We will send all your documents and the terms you raised to the schools and inform you of the schools' decision ASAP

When you two sides meet the agreement on your coming, we will ask the school to fax you a signed contract for you to sign and then fax it back;

When receiving the fax with your signature, we will post you all the necessary documents for you to process your work visa;

Before you leave for China, you are responsible for meeting immunization requirements for your destinations(s). Please contact your local immunization agency for information. Some teachers choose to travel to southern China before returning to Canada. Immunization requirements vary from country to country. Qualified Canadian immunization agencies can give you information on requirements or suggested requirements from all countries.
